Celebrity Cooks was a Canadian cooking show that aired from 1975  to 1987. Bruno Gerussi hosted 478 episodes in total.  The comedy and cooking show featured Canadian and international entertainers preparing dishes for the audience during the half-hour of frivolous kitchen antics.  Among the many celebrities who appeared on the show and whose recipes appear in The New Celebrity Cooks Cookbook include Patrick Macnee, Pierre Berton, Jehane Benoit, Julia Child, Bob Crane, David Letterman, Nanette Fabray, Margaret Trudeau and Robert Urich.
