Shipping Fees
Domestic Bliss Lifestyle Books and Essentials ship via Canada Post. Shipping fees are determined by the cumulative weight in Kilos of all items in your shopping bag. The shipping weight of each book is found in the Publishing Details description. Shipping fees are calculated at checkout.
Standard Shipping Rates
All orders less than $30.00 CDN shipped to addresses located in Canada and the United States are calculated at Canada Post or UPS rates at checkout. You are able to choose a rate based on speed of delivery.
The free shipping promotion is applied at checkout when your order is greater than $30.00 CDN after any other discounts. Customers may avoid shipping fees if the sum of purchases exceeds $30.00 CDN. Conditions:
- The free shipping promotion is only applicable to addresses in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Prince Edward Island.and Quebec. Other addresses are excluded.
- Any title listed at more than $30.00 and weighs greater than 1.0 kg ~a $6.95 overweight shipping surcharge is applied. If applicable the surcharge is noted in the description of title.
- Any title listed at more than $30.00 and weighs greater than 2.0 kg ~a $10.95 overweight shipping surcharge is applied. If applicable the surcharge is noted in the description of title.
Order Processing
All orders are processed for shipping within 3 business days. Orders cannot be not shipped on weekends or statutory holidays. If there is a delay in the shipment of your order, we will contact you via email.
Canada Post Delivery Standards
Delivery standards are based on normal delivery conditions and are subject to change without notice. The Canada Post on-time delivery guarantee may be modified during peak periods or suspended due to causes beyond Canada Post’s reasonable control. For service updates www.canadapost.ca/notice.
The Canada Post normal delivery times from Ottawa, Canada:
- 3 to 9 business days for British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island based on the service selected at checkout.
- 8 to 14 business days for Northwest Territories, Yukon, Nunavut, Newfoundland and Labrador based on the service selected at checkout.
- 3 to 7 business days for locations in the United States based on the service selected at checkout.
Shipment Confirmation & Order Tracking
You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email once your order has been shipped containing a tracking number. The tracking number will be active within 24 hours of receiving the email.
Damage
Domestic Bliss Lifestyle Books and Essentials is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. If you received your order damaged, please contact Canada Post to file a claim. Please save all packaging materials and damaged goods when filing a claim.
