Condition: Very Good. Vintage Rare Find: All nine booklets in this set are in fine condition, with no tears, stains, or corner or edge wear. One booklet has a minor fold on the back page. Pages are unmarred but yellowed. The set comes with a case in poor condition, with rubbing and tears, but it has protected the fragile paper booklets for at least 50 years.
Canadian Woman’s Cookbook Library: My Favorite Recipes series was presumably published by Chatelaine Magazine in the 1960s, as the exact date is unknown. The nine booklets each feature a different subject: Freezer Foods, Casseroles and Chafing, Cakes, Cookies and Breads, Oven Meals, Desserts and Pies, Leftovers, Salads and Vegetables. Each booklet features subscriber submissions. Two others are dedicated to Menus. A rare nostalgic look at the recipes Canadians enjoyed from Coast to Coast.
