Written by two West Indians from different islands, with different ethnic origins, different fields of work and different backgrounds, this cookery book includes recipes drawn from the wide range of the cultures which make up the Caribbean. The great interest they both shared was their love for and skill in cooking which also contributed to their friendship. Errol Barrow was the Prime Minister of Barbados.  Dr. Lee is of Chinese origin was from Trinidad. 

Privilege is a Barbadian dish frequently cooked in agricultural areas. It is unique, simple to prepare and of high nutritional value.
